Layers of collage papers were used to build up the surface on this piece, then paint added and removed, and finally, layered with this bold Indigenous inspired design to reflect my recent embracing of my ancestral heritage.
This piece, along with “Tender Expansion”, was accepted to the 2022 Sooke Fine Arts Show.
